License Agreement

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is between you and Prashant Sharma and Deepam Mishra (“we”, “us”), the maker of FinderBuddy (the “Software”). By installing or using the Software, you agree to this Agreement. If you don't agree, don't install or use it.

1. License grant

When you buy a license, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, lifetime (perpetual) license to install and use the Software on up to 3 Mac computers that you own or control. You can move an activation to a new Mac by deactivating it on an old one.

2. Personal and commercial use

You may use the Software for personal or commercial work, including processing files for your clients. Teams and businesses need one license for every 3 Macs the Software is installed on.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

• Share, sell, rent, lend, or publish your license key
• Activate one license on more than 3 Macs
• Copy, modify, decompile, or reverse engineer the Software, except where the law expressly allows it
• Remove or bypass licensing, copyright notices, or other protections in the Software
• Use the Software to process files you don't have the right to use or modify

4. Lifetime updates

Your license includes lifetime updates: every new version of FinderBuddy we release, for as long as we develop and sell it, at no extra cost. Updates are available from the Updates page and are covered by this Agreement unless they come with their own terms.

5. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. We keep all rights, title, and interest in the Software, including all intellectual property rights. Files you create or process with the Software belong to you.

6. Privacy

The Software processes your files locally and does not upload them. License activation may contact our servers to verify your license. See our Privacy Policy.

7. Termination

This Agreement stays in effect until terminated. It ends automatically if you breach it, or if your purchase is refunded or charged back. When it ends, you must stop using and delete the Software.

8. No warranty

The Software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Keep backups of important files.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Software. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

10. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of India. If any part of it is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
